I have recently acquired a set for eight of Franciscan China with the Strawberry Fair Pattern. dinner plates (minus one), salad plates, cereal bowls, fruit bowls, saucers and tea cups, creamer and sugar bowl, butter dish with lid, serving platter and serving/vegetable bowls. I have a 8"x5" wooden Franciscan Hermosa Tile "NEW COLOR PALETTE" salesman sample box, it came with 46 one and a half inch sq samples from the factory 70 plus yrs ago, and I have two pieces missing D-108-Primrose, and D-177-Tea Rose. All are in MINT condition and I mean zero chipped edges or even scratches! Although I am missing two tiles that are part of a set, I also have included in the box a set of White Crystal Franciscan #700 that are Interpace, along with one Franciscan Hermosa Tile COLOR H-204 Bermuda Blue. The only wooden box I can even find is on E-Bay and it is from the 1930's and their are no tiles included, nor does it even have the ribs in it for the individual tiles. I would like to buy the two remaining tiles if available, or sell my box but I have no idea what it is worth since I can't even find one like mine online! Any and all info would be appreciated. Hi everyone. I have a "new" still packed in the original box FRANCISCAN APPLE set for 4. This set was made in the USA and according to a couple of sources the set was made in the mid to late 1970's. The box is stamped "Franciscan, 2901 Los Feliz Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90039. I also have photos. In the set you get 4 - 10.5 inch dinner plates, 4 - 8 inch salad plates, 4 - 3.75 inch cups (2.75 inches tall), 4 - 5.75 inch saucers, and 4 - 5 7/8 inch desert bowls (1.5 inches tall). LIST: 7 saucers, 6 desert plates, 4 salad plates, 4 dinner plates (one has 2 chips on bottom), 3 sorbet? bowls, 1 oval relish bowl, 1 platter, 1 divided in three deep dish, 1 divided in 3 dish this one has 1 larger area in middle and 2 smaller sides, 1 jelly no lid, 1 creamer, 1 sugar bowl no lid, 6 tea cups, 1 vegetable bowl, 2 serving bowls 1 with lid, 1 butter dish with lid, 1 teapot very small chip on bottom edge of lid, 2 tier serving plate, 1 oval deep divided bowl, 1 gravy boat with chip on top edge of plate, 1 vegetable bowl with small edge chip, 1 desert bowl (made in USA different stamp), 2 dinner plates with nickle size chip in each, 3 salad plates with small chip in each also.
