In 1984, Wedgwood donated the archival ceramic collection from the Los Angeles Franciscan Ceramics plant to the Wedgwood Museum. The collection is the only known accumulation of Franciscan pottery in Great Britain and as such is of considerable importance. There are nearly 200 objects, including many parts of sets, in the collection which were given to the Museum on the closure of the American manufacturing plant in 1984. The Franciscan collection has not been indexed. Currently there are no plans to index the collection.

The California State Library has the archives of Gladding, McBean & Co. The collection includes glass negatives of buildings which used Gladding, McBean products including Terra Cotta.
The archive does not have the archives of the Franciscan division of Gladding, McBean (the Glendale plant in Los Angeles) in their collections.
The Library includes the architectural drawings collection from the Tropico tile division of Gladding, McBean donated by the Brand Library in Glendale, California.
